Green Optics Co., Ltd. (‘http://www.greenoptics.com’, hereinafter referred to as ‘Green Optics website’) has established the following processing policy to protect users’ personal information and rights under the Personal Information Protection Act and to handle users’ grievances related to personal information smoothly. Green Optics Co., Ltd.
(‘Green Optics website’) will notify any revisions to the personal information processing policy through website announcements (or individual notices).

1. Purpose of Personal Information Processing

Green Optics Co., Ltd. (‘http://www.greenoptics.com’, hereinafter referred to as ‘Green Optics website’) processes personal information for the following purposes. The processed personal information will not be used for purposes other than those stated below, and if the purpose of use changes, prior consent will be obtained.

4. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise
Users, as personal information subjects, may exercise the following rights:
  • ① Data subjects may exercise their rights to access, correct, delete, and request suspension of the processing of personal information from Green Optics at any time.
  • ② The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 may be made to Green Optics in writing, by email, or by fax in accordance with Article 41, paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and Green Optics will take action without delay.
  • ③ The exercise of rights under paragraph 1 may be exercised through agents such as legal representatives of data subjects or authorized persons. In this case, a power of attorney must be submitted according to Form No. 11 attached to the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • ④ Requests for access to personal information and suspension of processing may be restricted under Article 35, paragraph 5, and Article 37, paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  • ⑤ Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be made if the personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws.
  • ⑥ Green Optics verifies whether the person making requests for access, correction/deletion, or suspension of processing under data subject rights is the individual or a legitimate representative.
5. Items of Personal Information Processed

6. Destruction of Personal Information
Green Optics Co., Ltd. (‘Green Optics website’) destroys personal information without delay when the purpose of personal information processing is achieved in principle.
The procedures, deadlines, and methods of destruction are as follows:

- Destruction Procedure
Information entered by users is transferred to a separate database after achieving its purpose (separate documents in case of paper). It is stored for a specific period according to internal policies and other relevant laws, or destroyed immediately. Personal information transferred to the database is not used for different purposes except as required by law.

- Destruction Deadline
Users’ personal information is destroyed within 5 days from the end date when the retention period has expired, or within 5 days from the date when processing of personal information is deemed unnecessary due to achievement of processing purposes, service termination, business closure, etc.

- Destruction Procedure
Information in electronic file format uses technical methods that cannot reproduce records.

7. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices
Green Optics does not use ‘cookies’ that store and retrieve users’ usage information.

9. Changes to Personal Information Processing Policy
  • ① This personal information processing policy applies from the effective date. If there are additions, deletions, or corrections to changes according to laws and policies, such changes will be announced through notices seven days before implementation.
10. Security Measures for Personal Information Green Optics Co., Ltd. (‘Green Optics website’) implements the following technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure security by Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act:
